 4/8/26 42.5km Boppard /train/ koblenz -> andernach -> Bad Breisig Basilika St. Severus, Boppard Year round Christmas shop Schloss Koblenz, under wraps  Tonight's camp at Camping Rheineck

 3/8/26 25.5km Oberwesel -> boppard  Oberwesel town from the old town wall Flood levels - very different from the record low the Rhein is currently experiencing Rheinfels castle, st. Goar Unfortunately half the castle was closed due to construction After checking in to my solo occupancy 6 person hostel dorm room, I decided to go on a short 5 km walk, which started at the top of a gondola Panoramic views of the Rhein fron the top Making my way down (to) town There are two versions of this path one is called the wanderpath and one is called the klettering path - I chose to walk the one that didn't need helmets and harnesses
